Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) is the child of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). Her parents are of Italian heritage (her paternal great-grandpa), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by her stage title Lily James, is an English actor from England. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career with the British television show Just William (2010). After her character in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakout role was playing the title role in the film of fantasy Cinderella (2015). James was later cast as Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) and starred in several films.
