Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. Her first release was hilarious, intelligently composed music that tackled issues like racial identification and sexual orientation. She then expanded her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. In the following years, she took up traditional and hip-hop training. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. The focus changed to music only after she finished her studies. In 2012, My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet sensation and featured in her debut album Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the Queef track and the eye-catching NYC Bitchecity tour. The song was directly connected to Awkwafinas NYC, her 2015 travel guide. After having a great career as a musician, she took on the character of actress. Her film credits include films such as Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed several major roles like Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. In June she released In Fina We Trust.
