A very successful artist still in the prime of her young age, she's sold more than 45 million music albums as well as over 41 million tracks around the world, making her one of the biggest-selling musicians of all time. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae music and began singing when she was quite young. After being disturbed by the chaos of her family life and constant battles with her father she began to get involved in music. Before long she realized she was destined to become an established professional. In high school she was a part of a band group and was subsequently invited to audition for Evan Rodgers.
